Chandra Engineering Works is partnership organization located at No. 52/3, Koramangala Industrial Layout, Bangalore-560095. The company was established in 1977 and has always concentrated and specialized in quality and high precision jobs. Over the years, we have become indispensable to our clientele who comprise the reputed names in the Machine Tool Industry. The built up area of our machine shop is 1600 sq. ft, while our fabrication and storage area is about 1000 sq. ft. with an overhead crane of 10 tonnes capacity.
Our company is in the approved list of suppliers of M/s Bharat Earth Movers Limited and have executed orders for the manufacture of Jigs & Fixtures, which were highly appreciated for their designs.
We regularly supply Jigs & Fixtures to M/s Larsen & Toubro Komatsu Ltd., Bangalore. Our company has successfully executed orders for the production of Machining Fixtures and other special purpose machines and components.
At present, we are engaged in the production of Fabricates Bases for Special Purpose Machines that are being manufactured by M/s Widia (India) Ltd., Bangalore.
We are regular suppliers to M/s Ingersoll Rand (India) Ltd., Bangalore, for almost two decades. We supply fabricated and high precision machines components for Mining Rigs, Water Well Rigs and Feeder Crushers. Presently, we are engaged in the manufacture of major portions of the state of the art Vibratory Road Rollers
We are also a regular supplier to M/s Machine Tool Prototype Factory in Ambernath, a Defense Organization of Tooled-Up Packages (for components manufactured on CNC Machining Centers). These comprises of:
- Tool layout with design, manufacture and supply of fixtures and holding fixtures
- Process layout with design, manufacture and supply of fixtures and holding fixtures
- Tolerance Charting, Inspection Control Plans, design and supply of gauges and inspection fixtures
- Computer aided part program for CNC Machines with debugging and proving on machines
- Complete documentation for consumable tools, operation instructions, etc.
We have a team of engineers who have been trained in Germany and the United Kingdom in CNC Machine Technology and computer aided design and manufacture.
We all are aware of the fact that the components manufactured by the watch industry are among the most precise, and the machines that perform this task, are even more so. Our company has now undertaken Import Substitution Machines for M/s Titan Industries, Hosur, where we would provide relevant design of all components along with the assembled machines.
Chandra Engineering Works is also a preferred vendor of CNC Drill Jigs & Fixtures to M/s. Rieter-LMW, Coimbatore - a 100% EOU unit, which is engaged in the manufacture of the state of the art machines for the textile industry.
Our company is also among the major suppliers of high precision, machined stainless steel components to M/s Motor Industries Co. Ltd., Bangalore for their SPM Department & Packing Machine Department.
We have also successfully completed the manufacture of Spring Bar Hole Drilling Machine for M/s Titan Industries, Hosur. This machine is a state-of-the-art high precision machine, which is used for the drilling of spring bar holes on watchcases. It is fitted with the Pro-logic Circuit, which makes the machine completely automatic and at the same time keeps the cycle time to a minimum. The only human involvement in the function of the machine is for the purpose of loading and unloading of the watchcases. It is capable of drilling two cases simultaneously. The unique feature of this machine is that it can be adapted to different types of cases very easily.
We have also successfully completed the manufacture and assembly of the V.E-Pump Endurance Testing Machine for M/s Motor Industries Co. Ltd. This machine is used for testing of diesel pumps and has a non-stop run cycle of almost 6 months.
Our company is engaged in the production of Jigs & Fixtures for M/s BPL Limited (Refrigerator Division). These fixtures are used for PUF Filling in the refrigerators.
We have recently completed the manufacture of Softening & Meltdown determination apparatus for Iron bearing material.
Chandra Engineering Works is also engaged in the CNC Turning of Pump Plungers used in the manufacture of diesel pumps for M/s Autocom Engineers Ltd.
We have also manufactured investment cast stainless steel components for M/s. Zircast Limited which is a 100% EOU organization. These components include CNC Milling and CNC Turning.
Our company also produces a vast variety of components for M/s. Deeyem CNC and M/s. Pratheek CNC Ltd. The materials of these components include aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel.
